On Saturday, the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, led a delegation to have an on-the-spot assessment of the seven-story building that was under construction when it collapsed in First Avenue, Banana Island, Lagos.
The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Tayo Bamigbose-Martin, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency, LABSCA, and other engineers led Sanwo-Olu on the inspection.
