NECO reschedules entrance examination for gifted, talented students over low registration

The National Examination Council (NECO) has rescheduled the gifted and talented National Common Entrance Examinations (NCEE) for 2023.

This is according to a statement signed by Azeez Sani, Head of Information and Public Relations Division, and issued to News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Minna.

According to the statement, the examination for admission to the Federal Government Academy Suleja for gifted and talented children will now take place from Saturday to Sunday.

According to the statement, stakeholders requested an extension of the registration period to allow all interested candidates to register.

“The examination was rescheduled to allow more candidates to register for the exercise,” according to the statement.

The Federal Government Academy Suleja, according to the statement, is a training ground for molding gifted students to develop their potentials in the interest of nation building and technological development.

“The students benefit from federal scholarships such as tuition, external examination fees, boarding, feeding, uniform, and basic textbooks,” according to the statement.
