Onobun, who was the most recent Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, suffered injuries in the accident, according to Tony Aziegbemi, the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, who confirmed this to our correspondent on Friday. Onobun was hospitalised at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, where he is receiving treatment.
