INEC begins recruiting ad-hoc workers in preparation for elections in Imo, Bayelsa, Kogi

Before the governorship elections in Imo, Bayelsa, and Kogi states, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started hiring ad hoc employees.

The recruitment portal will be open from Thursday, August 31, 2023, and will close on October 2, according to an announcement by INEC on X (previously Twitter).

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) invited you to apply as an Ad-Hoc Staff for the impending off-cycle governorship elections in the states of Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi.

On Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 8:00 AM, the portal will open. On Monday, October 2, 2023, at midnight, the portal will close.

To apply, go to https://pres.inecnigeria.org, the INEC portal. Android users can start the procedure by visiting https://inecpres-app.com/pres-app.apk.

Regarding eligibility, INEC has urged all candidates to go to the Eligibility Page and check the requirements for any position with electoral staff that interests them.

To be eligible for selection as ad-hoc staff in the 11th November 2023 off-cycle governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi states, all candidates are also encouraged to complete and submit the registration forms online.

Except for Registration Area Technicians, applicants must be residents of the state chosen and not members of any political parties, as well as not have shown or publicly stated support for any candidates or parties.
