Festus Akande, the public relations officer for the Supreme Court, has guaranteed that the fire incident that happened on Monday morning will not impact the petition for the presidential election.

This was revealed by Akande on Monday during an interview on Arise TV.

He claims that nothing in the court will be impacted by the fire incident.

As previously reported by ProbitasNews a Monday morning fire consumed a portion of the Supreme Court building located in the Three-Arm-Zone, Abuja.

“There’s actually no single connection, and it won’t affect anything in the court,” the PRO stated.

This incident took place in a chamber that included a working library that any justice using the chamber may use, along with a computer and other technology.

“The books and computer equipment in the chamber were the only things that were affected,” Akande continued. You can swap out the books as well.

“Moreover, it is unrelated as it stemmed from an electrical malfunction, which can occur anywhere and everyday occurrences occur,” he concluded.
