Governor Uba Sani of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dismissed by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which is seated in Kaduna.
According to Probitasnews, the tribunal ruled the state’s 2023 governorship race to be unresolved on Thursday.
The judges avoided the actual hall and the decision was made by Zoom.
Isah Mohammed Ashiru, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), filed the petition.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) was directed by the tribunal to hold a supplemental election in 7 wards across 4 Local Government Areas within 90 days, following a split judgement with a 2:1 ratio.
