The news about his freedom was disclosed by human rights activist and Convener of #RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore.
Sowore said, “We are happy to announce that the @OfficialDSSNG in Kaduna state has freed @KHALYD16. A source revealed that he’s been reunited with his family. SaharaReporters on Monday also reported how operatives of the lawless Department of State Services (DSS) arrested another Nigerian youth, Aliyu Sanusi, in Sokoto State for allegedly printing and distributing #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest materials.
Omoyele Sowore had disclosed information about Sanusi’s arrest in a post on his X platform (formerly Twitter).
Sowore, also a former presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 and 2023 general elections, had said Sanusi was arrested on Monday evening.
He had noted that Sanusi was arrested at the Sama Road area of Sokoto, the state capital, had demanded immediate release of the victim.
