EFCC, Anti-Graft Agency detain 23 suspected internet fraudsters in Benue, recover one vehicle

In a sting operation on Sunday in Makurdi, Benue State, agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Makurdi Zonal Command detained 23 alleged internet fraudsters.

The anti-graft agency made this announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday. They said that among the things seized from them were several mobile phones and a Toyota Corolla.

According to the statement, the suspects are David Uvaa, Patrick Adakole, Cyprian Aloo, Michael Anaambe, Okti Clinton, Ibi Raphael, Anaambe George, Msaasha John, Oche Edache, Anaker Terpase, Tanko Japhet, and Ayalgo Lorfa.

Success Terzungwe, Suursuter Isaiah, Lawani Peter, Paul Adewa, Jacob Paul, Ibi Shedrack, Iorkosu Michael, Shiedu Leonard, Terseer Mnenge, Ikyorna Raphael, and Igba Ngutor are some of the additional names.

When the inquiry is over, the suspects will be charged in court because they provided helpful statements.
