Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has asked protesters and laments over the removal of 21 directors and CEOs from government-owned businesses to keep going, as this is a complete waste of time and effort.
The Minister declared that in his quest to act morally in the nation’s capital, he would not take feelings or emotions into account.
The managing director of the Abuja Urban Mass Transport Company (AUMTCO) was fired, and employees can be seen sobbing and protesting in a widely shared video, according to ProbitasNews.
One of the 21 heads of the FCT Administration’s parastatals, agencies, and businesses that the minister fired a few days ago was Najeeb Abdulsalam, the company’s MD and CEO.
That’s the reason I ask, “If you’ve been doing well, where are the buses?” when I see people sobbing on film when someone has been taken and they’ve been doing well. In Abuja, Wike stated reports.
“When we are acting morally, sentiment and emotions will not be taken into account. In the best interests of the public, we shall act morally.
It won’t disturb us if you want to carry 20 people, record a video, and cry all you want to. The reality on the ground is what disturbed us.
You cannot claim that no one should retire you since you are not yet of retirement age because you are not a civil worker.

I am now free to resign from my post, even as a minister. It’s okay to stop crying; there will be other people who arrive, and our only hope is that we will receive the finest.
