Two brothers remanded in Kwara for allegedly killing uncle

Regarding their uncle’s purported murder, a Magistrate’s Court in Ilorin, Kwara State, remanded two accused to prison.

They belong to the Kaiama Local Government of the State and are identified as Musa and Idris Aliyu.

According to a police report, the suspects are accused of killing their uncle Muhammad Abubakar, 54.

The younger brother’s lifeless body was discovered by the two suspects’ father when he arrived home, according to reports.

In front of the state capital of Ilorin’s magistrate’s court, the Kwara State police command filed charges against the two respondents.

Gbenga Ayeni, the police prosecutor, begged the court to place the suspects under arrest until the investigation into the case was concluded.

Magistrate A.A. Isah adjudicated the case until November 1, 2023, and remanded the suspects.
