Seun Kuti Condemns Silence of Celebrities, Feminists on Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Plight

Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat artist, has criticized feminists and Nigerian celebrities for not endorsing Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the senator for the Kogi Central Senatorial District.
Women have not stood with Akpoti-Uduaghan the way they did for Annie Idibia throughout their divorce battle with 2Face, he said.
He expressed his displeasure on Instagram that while people have been talking about the Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje Lamborghini Scandal, they have not investigated the claim of sexual harassment.

He declared, “I completely support Senator [Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan] in the sexual harassment case in the Senate.” Because she isn’t even the first to accuse the Senate President of these things. The fact that all of these so-called female activists are silent is unbelievable.

They have something to say about Burna Boy allegedly breaking his word to Sophia Egbueje, but they avoid talking about significant issues.

Such actions are unacceptable in this nation. That woman [Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan] is being quite serious in her remarks. Everybody had something to say to defend Annie against 2face, but the celebrities won’t come out to support her in this kind of situation.

Numerous celebrities, particularly those in Nollywood, receive fictitious funds from the government, which prevents them from speaking out about such issues. I beg Nigerian women to stand by Natasha, even though I am unable to publicly demonstrate in favor of her seeking justice.
