The Ogun State Government is set to clamp down on seven companies for alleged environmental pollution in Veepee Avenue, Sango Ota, in the Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of the state. The companies which included Purechem Manufacturing Limited, Olympic Inks/Salient Industries, Ecomed Pharmaceuticals Limited, Nigerian Distilleries Limited, Industrial Mineral Products, Bhumee Inks Limited, and Classic Soap Industries Nigeria Limited, were found guilty of discharging untreated effluents to the community.
