Tinubu to lead the Friday unveiling of Buhari’s book

On Friday, the ceremonial publication of a book detailing the accomplishments of the outgoing President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), would be presided over by the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

 

The launch of the book, “A Promise Kept: Compendium of Significant Achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari Administration,” will take place on Friday at the State House Conference Centre in Abuja at 4:00 pm. Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo will be the guest of honour.

This was stated in a special invitation sent to prominent national luminaries from the political and commercial worlds by Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.

The development follows Buhari’s official launching of the Dangote Refinery in Lekki, Lagos, in which Presidents Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana, Mahamat Déby of Chad, Mohamed Bazoum of Niger, Macky Sall of Senegal, and Faure Gnassingbé of Togo were also present.

“On behalf of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, the National Chairman, in collaboration with the MBO Dynamic Support Group, cordially invites the following dignitaries to the launch of the book titled, “A PROMISE KEPT: Compendium of Significant Achievements of President Muhammadu Buhari Administration,” the invitation reads in part.

Other notable figures include Tajudeen Abbas, the chosen candidate of the ruling party for Speaker of the House of Representatives, Malam Mele Kyari, Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Godwin Emefiele, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, founder of Zenith Bank Plc, and Senator Godswill Akpabio.
