The Osun State Traditional Religious Worshippers Association’s leadership promised the state’s helmsman that they would support him in carrying out the necessary rituals to further make Ademola Adeleke’s administration more peaceful.

This was stated in a message of congratulations from the religious organization to Adeleke on his victory at the Supreme Court, which upheld his election at the governorship election on July 16, 2022. The message was signed by the organization’s president, Oluseyi Atanda, and was obtained in Osogbo on Wednesday.

The traditionalists then urged Adeleke to ensure peace among the state’s residents of different faiths, adding that the governor must also look out for the welfare of the group’s members by supporting their initiatives to keep the state safe through various spiritual interventions.

The group also gave the governor the advice to keep up the good policies of his predecessors and to stop all the bad ones in order for the state to advance in the nation’s league of states.

Osun PDP elects a new executive as Adeleke calls for unity.
We congratulate Senator Ademola Adeleke, our governor, on his victory at the Supreme Court, which upheld his election, the statement said. God appointed him governor, and we will keep working hard to appease our ancestors in order for him to rule the state in peace.

“As a nonpartisan religious organization, we pledge Governor Adeleke our steadfast support. In the interest of the state, he should continue with the successful policies of those who came before him in office rather than changing any that he feels are ineffective.

“All the rituals required to make the land more tranquil will be performed during the term of our amiable governor, and we are confident that he will extend hands of friendship to us and give us a chance to interact with his administration. He has our unwavering support, we promise.
