Tolu Bankole, a member of the All Progressives Congress National Working Committee, has voiced his strong faith that President Bola Tinubu will win the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal hearing on Wednesday.

In response to widely circulated media claims that judges were under pressure to invalidate the president, Bankole gave his vote of confidence.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, the tribunal’s chair, Justice Stephen Adah of the Court of Appeal (Asaba Division), Justice Monsurat Bolaji-Yusuf of the Court of Appeal (Asaba), Justice Moses Ugo (Kano), and Justice Abba Mohammed of the Court of Appeal’s Ibadan Division will all render the decision.

Remember that the tribunal had previously declared that it would rule on the petitions opposing Tinubu’s designation as the victor of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s 2023 presidential election on Wednesday.

In a similar spirit, the military and the police have issued a warning that they will not tolerate any illegal behavior on the day of the decision by troublemakers.

There is no reason for concern, according to Bankole, who released a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.

The APC leader bragged that the judiciary would confirm Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election despite media hysteria and purported threats against judges.

He declared, “I am more than confident that the judgment will be resoundingly in favor of our dear president, H.E. Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in light of the current media and social media pressure and, in some cases, propaganda by some alarmists in the country with regard to the would-be outcome of the presidential election tribunal. The facts of the case, which both the plaintiffs and defendants presented before the Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal in Abuja, support this.

“In my view, it is obvious that the petitions’ arguments against our dear president are unjustified, foolish, a waste of time, and purely academic. The verdict of tomorrow won’t be an exception to Nigeria’s judiciary’s history of operating honestly, without bias, and unafraid of being intimidated by losers and their keyboard warriors.

The first 100 days of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration made it abundantly evident that the leader possesses the skills and moral fiber necessary to fulfill his pledge to eradicate chronic poverty, generate jobs, and transform Nigeria into a thriving country.

“Participatory democracy has the advantage that there are always new opportunities for debate. 2027 will mark the next presidential election. The losers should go try again instead of cyberstalking and threatening to make the nation unruly. I urge everyone in Nigeria to exercise patience and calm. Tomorrow is fantastic.
